Getting Curious: Other Countries

This week we’re getting curious about other countries. Here are our prompts for cultivating your curiosity:

• This week, look for news about another country that you don’t usually read about. What do you know about that part of the world? Before looking up their news, were you aware of any current events there? 
  
  
• After reading the news about another country, what have you learned about that country? Did you have enough context to understand the news, or was it hard to comprehend? Did reading the articles change your perspective on that country in any way? 
  
  
• Take some time to read about the history and culture of the place you picked this week. Does learning more about its history help you understand the news you read more deeply?
